Data notizia: 05-08-2010 The IPmux-24/216 TDM pseudowire access gateway converts up to 16 E1/T1 TDM user traffic data streams into packets for transport over IP, ETH or MPLS networks. The IPmux family or Gmux-2000 at the opposite sites converts the traffic back to TDM. IPmux-24 and IPmux-216 introduce a new hardware platform which features a RAD multi-standard TDM pseudowire ASIC processor supporting TDMoIP, CESoPSN, SAToP and HDLCoPSN pseudowires. IPmux-24 and IPmux-216 support up to 3 Gigabit Ethernet ports, which can be ordered as SFP slots or built-in 10/100BaseT ports. IPmux-24 offers 1, 2 or 4 E1/T1 ports. IPmux-216 offers 8 or 16 E1/T1 ports. New Features Up to 16 nodes in a ring, with sub-50 ms switching time Ring control messages run over a dedicated reserved VLAN Broadcast storms and loops are prevented by stand-by ports on the ring In case of ring failure detection, the standby ports become operational for automatic fault recovery. SNTP Protocol for retrieving time & date from an SNTP server.
